We firmly believe that making the sector aware of the importance and scope of the regulations to which they are subject is of vital importance for developing a company’s business in the right way.

Motivated by this belief, we offer our clients the opportunity for training by using our knowledge and with the aim of improving their regulatory compliance processes, and providing them with solutions that increase independence in dealing with the complexities of the current regulatory framework.

After a long career as consultants and trainers we have developed a wide portfolio of courses designed specifically to incorporate the most important topics of concern, diversifying their content and typology.

On-site training

We offer on-site courses related to any chemical safety regulations applicable in the company (REACH, CLP, ADR, Biocides or other sector regulations). This approach facilitates knowledge transfer in a very efficient way because of the close interaction between trainer and student.

In-company compliance: Regulation (EC) 1907/2006 (REACH) and Regulation (EC) 1272/2008 (CLP)

Introduction to the regulation: REACH & CLP, Understanding the key points, the roles in the supply chain, the obligations arising from the Regulations, the implementation stages, and the sanctions regime.

REACH compliance: Understand the REACH Registration, Safety Data Sheets (simplified), substance use and risk management measures and substance restrictions and authorisations.

CLP Compliance: Classification, Labelling and Packaging, C&L Notification and notification to Poison Centres.

Regulation (EC) 1907/2006 (REACH)

Learn what the key points are, understand the roles in the supply chain and the Obligations of each one along with the sanctions regime.

Regulation (EC) 1272/2008 (CLP)

Regulation (EU) 528/2012 (BPR)

Understand the key points of dossier submission and evaluation of active substances, the Article 95 list and technical equivalence.

Biocidal Products / Biocidal Products Family. What is the transitional period? What are the product types? How do the Product families work? What is the application for authorisation and transitional measures? What should the dossier contain? and What is the function of the Letters of Access (LoA)?

Learning the Authorisation Types – National, Mutual Recognition, EU, Simplified, SBP and Standard Procedures.

Procedure for notification of hazardous mixtures to the INTCF

Understanding what the National Institute of Toxicology and Forensic Sciences is, when and why the notification of chemical products must be made; becoming familiar with the stages of the notification procedure; and making a Toxicological File through GesFicCom.

ADR

Learn how to classify dangerous goods according to the ADR Regulations.

Learn the different hazard categories; calculate the classification and packaging groups; understand the UN numbers, exemptions and limited quantities.

Safety Data Sheets (Annex II of Regulation (EC) 1907/2006).

Understanding the obligations derived from the Safety Data Sheets of chemical products; acquiring sufficient knowledge for the correct elaboration of Safety Data Sheets by focusing on the format and content based on the Regulation 2015/830.

Learn how to interpret Safety Data Sheet Exposure Scenarios; learn how to manage Exposure Scenarios for mixtures and to assess the importance of information transmission at each step of the supply chain.

Online Training

Procedure for notification of hazardous mixtures to EU Poison Centers – Webinar

Online training to understand the procedure for notifying hazardous mixtures to the various European Poison Centres – as provided for in Article 45 of the CLP Regulation. Each block consists of a theoretical part and an open-ended questions session where the learner can have any issues relating to the subject matter addressed.

Regulation (EC) 1272/2008 (CLP) and mixtures

The course content is divided into a theoretical and a practical section. The first section will present what the CLP Regulation is and how it applies to the classification and labelling of mixtures. The second will address several practical examples for learning how to apply the criteria for classification and labelling of physical, health, environmental and additional mixing hazards.
