All of this documentation constitutes the <em>Product Information File<\/em>. <\/p><p>The European Commission has created <a href=\"http:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/growth\/tools-databases\/cosing\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">CosIng<\/a>, a database of information on substances and ingredients used in cosmetics. This list does not constitute a list of substances authorised for use in cosmetic products, as their use must always be supported by a safety assessment. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-c8e7299 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"c8e7299\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Since 11 July 2013, before a cosmetic product is placed on the market, it must have been notified to the<em> Cosmetic Product Notification Portal (CPNP)<\/em>.
