substances in the European Union in quantities of 1 tonne or more per year to submit a registration to the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA), prohibiting the commercialisation of unregistered substances.<\/p><p>Non-EU companies cannot submit a <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/servireach.com\/blog\/no-tengo-numero-de-registro-reach-que-puedo-hacer\/\">REACH registration<\/a><\/strong> for substances they export to the EU. Instead, they can appoint a European company as their Only Representative to apply for REACH registration. In this way, European importers purchasing this substance from them will be considered as downstream users for the purposes of REACH.  <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-00e3ac6 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"00e3ac6\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>It will therefore be the responsibility of manufacturers, importers and downstream users of these substances to ensure that they only manufacture, market or use substances that do not adversely affect human health or the environment. One of the key documents for doing this effectively is the <i>Safety Data Sheet<\/i>. <\/p><p>The Safety Data Sheet is the main tool used in the chemical industry to transmit information on the risks of hazardous substances and mixtures throughout the supply chain.
